When I thought about the braced-for-disaster feeling that we carry with us, I thought, “It’s just like waiting for the joker to pop out of the Jack-in-the-Box can,” a continuous state of preparedness. I had to record this video. It’s my first video for GWNI.

That’s brillant. How true is that. Even when all grown up, still on edge waiting for the pop. I’ve just realized all the over analyzing and trying to control the pop’s in life, as ACOA’s do ,is about as useful as believing I can out think and control a jack in the box!
